Free new curriculum continuous assessment sheet (Excel)
Updated 22 October 2026
A ready-made Excel sheet for one class and subject under the new lower secondary curriculum. Type the activity of integration scores and the end-of-term marks; everything else works itself out.
What is in it
| You type | It works out |
|---|---|
| Learner names (up to 60) | The average of the activities, to one decimal |
| Up to five activity scores, 0 to 3 (AOI 1–5) | The level: 1 Basic, 2 Moderate, 3 Outstanding |
| The end-of-term mark, out of 100 | Out of 20 (activities) and out of 80 (end of term) |
| School, class, subject, term and teacher | The total out of 100, the grade A to E and its descriptor |
A second tab explains the sums and the grade key, so anyone checking the sheet can follow them. Example: activities 2.4, 3.0 and 2.7, end of term 58 → 18.0 + 46.4 = 64, grade C, Satisfactory. How it works: new curriculum report cards explained →
How to use it
- Download the file and save one copy per class and subject.
- Open it in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets so teachers can type on their phones.
- Type each activity score as it is done, and the end-of-term marks at the end. Leave a box empty if it is not done yet; an empty activity is left out of the average, not counted as zero.
- If your school uses other marks for the grades than 85, 70, 60 and 40, change the numbers in the Grade column’s formula.
Every subject, every learner, printed
The sheet does one subject. Report Card Studio collects every subject’s activity scores and end-of-term marks through Google Sheets, works out each learner’s results and overall level, writes their comments and prints each learner’s report card on your own design.
